Chunk the Magnificent

Chunk continues to grow, as does his name. He’s gathered a middle name, Edward, and a prefix, Mad-eye, as well as an epithet, the Magnificent. So he’s Mad-eye Chunk the Magnificent. And if you’re a vet, you’d add a last name.

He looks so sweet and innocent when he’s motionless, doesn’t he?

Chunk, awake and pissed off because he's worn out EVERY OTHER CAT IN THE HOUSE. AND THERE ARE AT LEAST ELEVEN OF THEM.

He went absolutely bat-shit for a while, when we first started letting him and his siblings out of the kitten room, into the main house. He would play, play, play until he dropped. Once, Matt and I found him asleep with his head in his food bowl.

He’s gotten more used to it over the past few weeks, and is becoming a pretty good lap cat. When he isn’t driving pitons up my jeans.

  1. Your series on Chunk is making me yearn for a kitten. You’re lucky!
