Still stitching away on my John R. Neill/sandstorm-inspired wool.
I actually dyed this in March. It’s been sitting around, waiting for both inspiration and for some hand-dyed threads to stitch it with. Dyeing to match was unsuccessful, and I wasn’t sure how to proceed until I remembered…
… the bits and pieces I’d thrown into the pot to exhaust the dye. Which match perfectly. And are, um, made of thread.
Unraveled, these are just the right length for hand stitching. And EXACTLY the right colors.
